Our leather straps are made from the finest, most carefully selected hides. This ensures that over time, they will develop a natural patina that will only enhance their beauty.
To ensure the health of your leather strap, it is best to avoid prolonged periods of heat. Also as leather has pores, it cannot be fully waterproofed. Therefor it is best to avoid your strap coming into direct contact with water.
Shocks and impacts to watches can result in permanent damage. Take every precaution you can to prevent from banging the crystal of your watch against a wall or any other objects that may cause scratches. Clean your watch as often as possible with a soft cloth and wipe down the band and the case to remove any dirt or dust.
Magnets can and will cause a watch to run incorrectly. Avoid placing your watch near any magnets, including those found in speakers, computers, even cell phones. The watch could run fast, slow, or even stop altogether if it becomes magnetized.
Drastic temperature changes or temperature extremes (above 140°F and below 32°F) can affect your watch and its water resistance.
Avoid any direct contact with chemicals, including cosmetics, perfumes, detergents, and more. These can damage your case, the gaskets, any leather or fabric straps, or even the finish on your metal bracelets and cases.
